Recently, we comprehensively covered Henry Savery's triumphant return to the Australian literary scene at this year's Brisbane Writers Festival.
Armed only with a twitter account, Savery bravely navigated the fast moving and confusing world of 2015 after more than a century away. Along the way he discovered the delights of craft beer, stole Robert Adamson's hat, and lost his horse, Richard Flanagan, at a Rugby League match.
But throughout the project, the question of the true identity of the author behind @HenrySavery remained a mystery.
On 10 October, Henry Savery will make one final public appearance before we return him to the Isle of the Dead and give him the peace he so clearly deserves now.
At the next Queensland Writers Centre's Whispers literary salon, the author behind the tweets will read from Savery's masterwork and Australia's first novel Quintus Servinton, celebrating Australia's oldest writing alongside some of its newest.
