Almost all published books are to some extent collaborative, but few open themselves to readers to invite comments or suggestions while in progress.
While the 24-Hour Book is underway, readers can watch the book’s content unfold by following the live blog or by simply reading the text as it’s posted.
Check the Live Blog
The live blog will be regularly updated with messages, commentary, and images from the writers as they work. Readers are invited to take part, ask questions or make suggestions.
We will also update via Twitter and Facebook too.
Read the Book in Progress
It’s not right now, but on the day the book itself will be live and open to the web. Each writer will have a designated chapter and will regularly update the text. By navigating through the work or simply hitting the refresh button on your browser, you will be able to see the work unfolding. There will also be a space at the end of each chapter for comments. Comments will be moderated by staff and volunteers. Comments or suggestions will be taken aback to the authors and may influence the direction the story takes as it is drafted, but regardless all supplementary text will remain with the web accessible version of the book.
